Okay, so I never made it to a part II for my list. I'm drawing a blank. I just don't feel very exciting. I think it's the 120 research papers. Research papers are draining. I think I'm just drained in general. It's time for the end of the year.
The most exciting thing is that The Humboldt Beacon updated their website and brought it to the current century. I admit, I enjoyed reading a website that looked like a 90 year old probably put it together, but anyway, the new one is nice. I especially enjoy the Police Reports. I miss Fortuna. Who reports chocolate spread they found on their car??? So awesome. The most current issue has at least three reports of a naked man busting into an apartment and then meandering the freeway. Again, so funny. Another highlight is the deer stuck in one of the rails on the freeway. He escaped just fine, but who can find this in a Phoenix newspaper?
Half the time I'm really reading the reports to make sure my rental doesn't suddenly show up as "vacant house vandalized."

It's also interesting to see what old classmate has been arrested. My mom likes to mail me those.
